# Welcome

> Squad reads the feedback your customers already give you, works out what it adds up to, and tells you what to build next.

Squad is your AI product manager. It reads support threads, sales calls, app store reviews, issues
and chat, then hands you the next step with the evidence still attached.

## The chain

One chain runs through the whole product. Every screen shows one stage of it.

Connected sources hand Squad raw text. Squad breaks each piece into the specific claims it contains,
one per **data signal**, and keeps the customer's own words. Signals that mean the same thing group
themselves into **clusters**. Clusters get synthesised into **insights**, each scored on how well
evidenced it is and whether the theme is still growing. A strong insight produces a short ranked list
of **actions**. An action that needs a written argument becomes a **brief**, either a PRD or a
decision brief. **Goals** steer which of that work Squad puts in front of you.

Extraction, clustering, scoring and action proposal run without you. Creating goals, prioritising
actions, generating a brief and making the final call are yours.

[The evidence pipeline](/pipeline) walks the chain stage by stage, with the thresholds and the
scoring maths.
