# App Store

> Turn app reviews into actionable product opportunities

## Overview

The App Store integration automatically analyzes your iOS app reviews to surface common issues, feature requests, and user sentiment. Squad's AI identifies patterns across thousands of reviews, helping you prioritize what matters most to your users.

## Setup guide

    1. Go to **Workspace dropdown → Integrations** in Squad

    2. Find App Store Reviews and click **Connect**
    3. Select your country from the dropdown and search for your app

    Click `Import` and Squad will import your last 50 reviews immediately, then sync new reviews daily.

## What Squad syncs

Squad automatically performs:

* "Can't share pictures anymore" → Tagged as: **Photo Upload Stability**

* **Praise**: Features users love
* **Issues**: Pain points and frustrations
* **Feature requests**: What users wish you'd build

## Common use cases

1. **Release monitoring**: Track how each app update affects reviews and identify issues quickly
2. **Feature validation**: See which features users mention positively to guide future investment
3. **Competitive insights**: Users often compare your app to competitors in reviews

## Review insights dashboard

In Squad, navigate to [**Insights**](/features/insights) and filter by **App Store Reviews** to see:

* Top positive and negative topics
* Actionable opportunities
* Emerging issues (new themes this week)
* Version-specific feedback

## Troubleshooting

**No reviews appearing**

* Verify you selected the correct country for your app
* Check if your app has recent reviews with text content
* Reviews without text (rating only) are not imported

**Can't find my app**

* Try searching with the exact app name
* Ensure you've selected the correct country/region
* Very new apps may take time to appear in search

**Missing historical data**

* Free and standard plans import the last 50 reviews
* Enterprise plans can import historical reviews from any date

  **Best practice**: Combine App Store reviews with support tickets and in-app feedback for a complete picture of user sentiment. Squad will automatically find correlations across all sources.
