Major improvements

  • A new onboarding allows Squad to do all the heavy lifting for users—creating a mission statement, goals, opportunities, and even solutions based off a single prompt
  • A new and improved roadmap, allowing you to prioritise your solutions and send directly into your implementation tool of choice, such as Cursor, Windsurf, or task management tools such as Linear
  • Workspace knowledge has been completely rethought and now includes multiple files, URLs, and text based context
  • New and improved Pro and Team plans to make Squad usable for everyone
  • Nodes are now “Credits” and based on AI calls instead of the creation of items on the strategy canvas
  • Squad MCP now drives all the internal AI calling, meaning every part of your strategy is self-aware

Additional fixes

  • New inline block-based editing for solution one-pagers, making solution development faster and easier
  • New import insights dialog to help give guidance on all the options available to bring insights into Squad
  • Education! We’ve put a lot of effort in developing learning resources and embedded them throughout Squad to make sure you’re aware of how to makw the most of Squad

The new strategy canvas, turning OSTs (opportunity solution trees) into a live, workable strategy that can be collaborated on with your team.

Major improvements

  • A complete UI overhaul—we’ve scrapped Material UI and opted for a faster, more modern, and less bloated headless library
  • Rethought navigation, including a sidepanel that let’s you edit goals, opportunities, and solutions without leaving the context of your strategy
  • New PRD (product requirements docs) generation and formatting which builds out your solutions in much more details
  • Integrations! We’ve launched Zapier, App store and Play store reviews, and a Slackbot

Additional fixes

  • Renamed Outcomes to Goals based off user feedback
  • Rethought opportunity and solution statuses
  • Added the ability to relink opportunities and solutions manually
